Something I'd really like to see....

Some time ago, there was a collection of threads on here about "realistic depictions of public nudity" in movies, TV, and books; it got me thinking, because even most of those, the nudity was included for shock or titillation value.  There was very little in that list where nudity was featured as a simple "normal" state of being.

What I'd love to see, would be a movie set (at least partially) on or around a nude beach or nudist area, where for large parts of the movie, people are casually naked.  Not people naked just for sex or showering, not someone wandering naked down the street, drawing stares and possibly the police.  Just plain, ordinary movie events, but everyone is naked.

If you want to discuss the philosophy an appeal of Naturism a bit, it could be, for example, a crime drama, where the murder happened in a nudist area, so the investigators make many visits to the area, and as such are exposed to that kind of environment.  I think it would be a refreshing change from how nudity in film is typically used.

Any opinions?

I have stories posted on other sites about erotic things other than NIP. Ask me for details!

I've got to agree with you there. There are a few, very few, films which do use naturist settings without the exhibitionism and most of them are really promoting the naturist lifestyle rather than just having naked people in a mainstream storyline. I guess we'll know that body freedom has begun to be accepted when that starts to happen.

A crime drama where one of the investigators has to go undercover "uncovered," as part of the investigation. That would make a GREAT movie.

The movie "Maslin Beach" from Australia is like this. The entire movie takes place on a nude beach.
