I wrote a bit about streaking graduation in my "Elizabeth the Exhibitionist" stories. Here is a real life clip of it (must have a flv player)

There was also a girl who gave her commencement address nude. It was Kate Logan. Her brave story:

Wednesday, June 17, 1998; 9:59 a.m. EDT

DORSET, Vt. (AP) -- Kate Logan says she was trying to express
the spirituality of graduation when she disrobed in the middle of
her speech at the Long Trail School's commencement.

School officials say they were not amused.

Stepping to the front of the graduation podium during
Saturday's ceremony, Logan, an 18-year-old student at the
private school, talked of her ``journey on a road less traveled.''

She credited the small, family-style school for helping to stretch
her, to challenge and inspire her individuality. Then she tossed
down her cap and slipped out of the white graduation robe to
finish her speech naked before a stunned crowd of 200 faculty,
friends, classmates and family members.

``Without expectations,'' Logan continued, ``feeling the limitless
directions, to open myself completely, to express myself fully as a
confident individual -- for it is only then, which I am open and
free, that truth and wisdom will reveal themselves.''

Her decision to disrobe, Logan said Tuesday, was made several
months ago as she began searching for significance in the
milestone event.

``The diploma didn't have any significance to me,'' said Logan,
who's from Winhall. ``When I was up there it felt natural. It
didn't feel like I was doing anything crazy. It felt like the right
thing to do,'' Logan said.

Administrators at the private school of 110 students disagreed.

On Monday, the school issued a statement saying, ``The
extremely unfortunate and selfish behavior of one senior which
occurred at the LTS Graduation Ceremony ... was a significant
embarrassment for all of us. This incident was overwhelmingly
inappropriate and is not reflective of our student body.''

The statement said the school's board and administration will
take steps to deal with this.'' Headmaster David Wilson and
Charles Chamberlain, chairman of the Board of Trustees,
refused to comment further.

This may be a dumb question, but what is a flv player? I've never heard of that.

.flv is the file format of online video players like youtube, metacafe, dailymotion, etc.

If you capture the video from the site (there are various ways to do this) the resulting file is a .flv file.

If you don't have one, I Wimpy is free and works fairly well (just google Wimpy FLV).

Liked the Cardozo_High streak. Has there been any interview following it.

Wonder what happened to Kate Logan. Has she had any more exposure????
